Kings Pinaccle/ Crowders Mountain

Run Through McMullen Creek Greenway


The Greenway runs about 5.8 miles through south Charlotte and passes underneath I-485.  The trail is a mix of boardwalk, asphalt, and gravel, great for runners, bikers, strollers, etc…  (Click here for more information)



Latta Plantation



Enjoy the scenery at Latta Plantation while horseback riding, having a picnic, kayaking on the lake, fishing,  or running/hiking 16 miles of trails.

McDowell Nature Preserve



Enjoy 7 miles of trails with scenic views of Lake Wylie, forests, streams, and a piedmont prairie restoration area. If leashed, Dogs are welcome, and bicycles are restricted to paved roads within the preserve. (Click here for more information)
