Restaurant Week is Here!

Queen's FeastRestaurant week is underway here in Charlotte and will continue through July 31st.  This is a biannual restaurant celebration and has grown from 42 to 134 locations since it began in 2008. Started with the purpose of showcasing Charlotte’s local culinary scene, organizers claim that the tremendous public response to the first winter edition helped area restaurants get through a tough recession.

Dubbed the Queen’s Feast, the celebration continues to grow each year and now includes restaurants from eight counties. In Uptown, 30 restaurants are participating.

How it works:

Each restaurant presents a prix fixe dinner that includes three courses on a menu that ranges from $30 to $35 a person, not including gratuity and tax. The low price is set to give diners the incentive to check out a new place that they have had their eye on or to go back to an old favorite to try something new. It’s a fun and affordable way to experience the restaurant scene.

Some, but not all, restaurants use Open Table to book a reservation. The special priced menu is available for dinner only. Menus are of course subject to change without notice depending on product availability. Coupons may not be accepted at some participating restaurants during Queen’s Feast. Please be considerate and cancel any reservation you may have made as soon as possible so that other diners and the restaurant have a chance to fill the seat. Reservation instructions may vary based on participating restaurant and you should check out their individual restaurant pages for more information.
